
This pic is one of a small series I took a few nights ago. It's kind of cool. The time of day represented in the pic looks to be around sunset (That hill is in the west of the horizon). In reality what looks like sunlight glowing on the clouds is actually light from the street lamps in Calgary being reflected off the clouds. I took the picture at around eleven pm. The light that is present in the picture was all generated from the Calgarian street lights and the moon. I used a fifteen second lens exposure with 400 ISO to get the effect. Took the picture in Rosebud AB. With the long exposure and mid range ISO there is some unfortunate noise, if you look closely you may see a couple of red pixels. I might edit those out sometime, maybe.
